The award recognizes individuals for their “Quality, Reliability and Competence to Apply Knowledge and Skills” to carry out specific tasks. This annual award is open to 'Researcher' of any nationality, who is in good standing at the time of the nomination.

The nominee must have completed a recognized Doctorate Degree (or its equivalent) and should have Extensive Knowledge and Mastery of the Subject, Creative Thinking, Significant and Sustained Contributions, Quality and Competence evidenced by Intellectual Accomplishments and Pursuits like Grants, Patents, Publications and Presentations.
